This is cool, and he feels like that little kid again as the terrain changes again -- terrain, yeah, right -- and they shoot at subs and some weird-ass steamship and stars, and just at the end there he catches sight of the ferris wheel out of the corner of his eye, and he knows it's there as a distraction 'cause the more shit you shoot, the more GP you win, and it's all good. It's all cool.

The ride's quick like coasters always are, and as fast as it started it's over. Now he does turn to Lara and she was laughing and that's sweet. She doesn't laugh like that -- out of pure joy -- a fuck of a lot and he likes the way it sounds.

For just a little bit he feels so friggin' normal.
