Axel eventually gets around to rummaging an Ether out of his pocket, a little blue cube of cool, crunchy, faintly-glowing blue, and pops it into his mouth. It helps with the amount of magic he spent on the volcano.

The direction of the wind shifts carrying heat off the flowing lava. It makes Axel's grin widen for a moment.
